Hello everyone,
I spent last night with mom, and she seems to be getting better. She has been having some trouble with her breathing, but I spoke with my aunt, and it looks like the day staff has gotten that under control. Other than that, her recovery is proceeding as expected. She thinks that she will be able to take the trache out possibly tomorrow, so that is good. She is still not ready for visitors, but I will let you all know when she is up for some more company.

Hey! I'm currently hanging out at the hospital. My friend Katy and I had a girls slumber party with mom gossiping (on mine and katy's part) and having fun. Mom looks great, her swelling is going down and everything is clean and doing good. She's still got a great spirit. Flirting with the male nurses and such. She's still got her sense of humor while writing on her etch-e-sketch type board (thanks glo). She's still not up for visitors but loves hearing about your prayers. As to taking out the trash kate, mom laughed and "rolled" her eyes. I think that is one activity she'll leave for james. haha
